Abstract

Indonesia's maritime potential is enormous, but the challenges in maintaining the security and sovereignty of Indonesian territorial waters are also increasingly complex. To increase the nation's competitiveness, the Indonesian Navy plays an important role in maintaining the security and sovereignty of Indonesian waters. Some of the strategic steps taken by the Indonesian Navy are the modernization of defence equipment, improving the quality of human resources, cooperation with other countries, and the use of technology.
