The Malacca Strait, which is a strategic route under the sovereignty of three countries in Asia, namely Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, is very vulnerable to various crimes. Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, which are littoral states or in other terms are coastal countries, namely countries that have the same area, and are fully responsible for everything that happens in that area. In the maritime world, maritime security has also expanded not only to the concept of sea defense against military threats from other countries but also to include defense against non-military threats, including protection of natural preservation, trade routes, eradication of illegal actions at sea, and so on. With interoperability between border maritime security units it will be easy to coordinate and carry out the tasks carried out together. Interoperability is an application that interacts with other applications through a mutually agreed upon protocol through a communication line. The realization of interoperability in maritime security at the Indonesian sea border in the Malacca Strait, namely cutting bureaucratic lines, being able to unite efforts from various sources to achieve common goals so that they are more effective and efficient.
