Membangun Big Data Kemaritiman dan Teknologi Informasi sebagai dasar Kejayaan Maritim Indonesia

Abstract

Strong Information Technologi and Maritime Data will be the main resource in the advancement of the maritime sector in Indonesia. Faced with the challenges of Vitality, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity (VUCA) in the future, Big Data Analysis supported by Information Technology can increase the ability to understand and deal with these challenges. Maritime Big Data and Information Technology can be used to understand various maritime potentials and threats in Indonesia so that appropriate and effective strategic decisions can be made. The method used in compiling this paper uses a qualitative approach by collecting data through literature and previous research. The purpose of this writing is to illustrate the role of Maritime Big Data and Information Technology in supporting Indonesia's maritime glory. The development of Big Data and Information Technology in Indonesia requires policy support and good cooperation between related agencies so that the potential and capabilities of maritime technology in Indonesia can be maximized to deal with any potential threats that come and support Indonesia's maritime glory.
