This study analyzes the readiness of Koarmada III in securing the Indonesian Archipelago Sea Lane (ALKI) III. ALKI III is a strategic international shipping lane but is vulnerable to various threats. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through literature studies and analysis of related documents. The results of the analysis show that currently the number of KRI elements owned by Koarmada III is currently insufficient to carry out optimal security patrols throughout the ALKI III region. This is a challenge considering the complex geographical conditions of ALKI III with many islands and straits that make patrol operations difficult. In addition, it was also found that several KRI elements in the ranks of Koarmada III were not equipped with adequate technology, such as satellite communication systems. Due to this condition, Koarmada III still faces a number of challenges in securing ALKI III. To improve security in the region, efforts are needed to increase the number and quality of defense equipment, develop human resources, and optimize the use of technology. The recommendations submitted include increasing the budget for the procurement of defense equipment, developing a better communication system, and increasing cooperation with related agencies.
