Konsep pertahanan litoral sebagai alternatif kekuatan mengatisipasi upaya invasi asing atas kedaulatan nkri

Abstract

The aim of establishing a country's defense force is to ensure the upholding of sovereignty. For this reason, this force must have sufficient ability to face all attempts that could disturb sovereignty, especially those coming from foreign parties. The development of dynamic regional and national situations requires the TNI, especially the TNI AL, to further strengthen itself to face various possible threats to sovereignty. The concept of littoral defense is an alternative that can be implemented by the Indonesian Navy while continuing to strive to develop its main force (KRI elements). This is something that the Indonesian government can consider considering that the world's great defense powers are around Indonesia and have the potential to come into contact with each other due to differences in interests between them. Apart from that, littoral defense is a manifestation of the concept of defense against asymmetrical forces where with minimal resources the potential to face much greater forces.
