Arti Penting Gelar Logistik TNI AL Sebagai Komponen Penentu Keberhasilan Operasi Matra Laut

Abstract

Logistics is one of the fundamental elements in a military operation. In Military War Operations, logistics has proven to be a determining component between victory or defeat in a battle. For the Indonesian Navy, logistics is still considered to be at the operational support level. In this study, the author explains the importance of the Theater of Logistics by Indonesian Navy's, which, whether good or not, will have a major influence on the implementation of naval operations. The study was conducted using a qualitative research method. Primary data was obtained from interviews with logistics experts and secondary data 
was obtained from literature and Indonesian Navy planning policies that are closely related to the research theme. The Theater of Logistics will change the perspective on the importance of long-term logistics planning that is in line with the planning of Naval Military Operations which include War Military Operations and Military Operations Other Than War. This paper discusses in depth the importance of the Theater of Logistics, aspects of it, the basic principles, and the things that determine the Theater of Logistics. This is the key to the development of the Indonesian Navy's Logistics in the future. For researchers, facts were found at the end of the study where the Theater of Logistics has an important meaning for the implementation of military operations carried out by this institution (the Indonesian Navy). Through; Theater of Logistics planning is in line with threat analysis and long-term strength title plans; Is also able to maximize the role of the region in supporting operations; And, Theater of Logistics in the area where the location is safe and the position is close to the operation area will increase the vibration of the military operations being carried out.
