Abstract

The development of globalization, especially in the fields of trade and transportation, has made the sea increasingly important for countries in the Southeast Asian region. Therefore, maritime protection and security is becoming an increasingly important issue for countries in the region. Indonesia as the largest maritime country in the Southeast Asian region plays an important role in enhancing maritime defence cooperation in the region.
