Abstract

The Russia-Ukraine war that has occurred since February 2022 is one example of modern warfare that is happening today. This war was motivated by Ukraine's desire to join NATO. Russia considers that joining Ukraine as a member of NATO would potentially endanger Russia's defense and security. The Russia-Ukraine war involves not only conventional military forces, but also involves opinion warfare and cyber warfare. This research uses a qualitative method approach with a type of literature study research. Data collection comes from literature studies in the form of books, journals and other sources of information. The benefits that can be taken from this battle analysis are the need for increased vigilance against proxy war threats that can threaten the safety of the nation, state sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Indonesia. In addition, as part of the nations of the world, Indonesia must continue to improve diplomatic relations with other countries, both in the context of bilateral, regional and international relations.
