Abstract

The world's defense industry is full of intrigue and political interests. Even though this industry mass-produces buying and selling processes between countries, for certain interests, the defense equipment being traded is reduced by technical capabilities, especially weapons. This is related to the Security Dilemma theory where one country's strength should not exceed that of another country. The TNI-AL as the main component of maritime defense is very dependent on the elements of the KRI and its weapons systems. For this reason, it is necessary to continuously develop the existence of the Maritime Defense Industry in order to
carry out the TNI-AL's tasks.
