Abstract

Maritime sovereignty is very important in maintaining the integrity of a country. An archipelagic country has its own challenges in strengthening its maritime sovereignty because it has many islands spread across the ocean and borders many countries. Therefore, efforts are needed to strengthen the power of archipelagic states in maintaining their maritime sovereignty.
Strengthening the power of archipelagic states in strengthening maritime sovereignty, including the understanding of archipelagic states, challenges faced, policies that must be taken, and efforts that can be made. Regional and international cooperation in strengthening the maritime sovereignty of archipelagic countries.
